About Dr. James
Dr Alex James is an experienced General Practitioner with a special interest in skin cancer medicine. He graduated from the University of Bristol (UK) in 2013 and relocated to Australia in 2015. Since then, he has worked extensively in major Perth hospitals, undertaking registrar roles across Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Neurology, and Paediatrics, before completing his General Practice training in Perth.
Dr James has pursued advanced training in skin cancer detection and management since 2018 and holds a Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine. His clinical interests include skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and minor surgical procedures.
He is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care with a strong focus on early detection and prevention. Outside of medicine, Dr James is a keen runner and enjoys spending time with his young family. He looks forward to supporting patients with high-quality, holistic medical care
